The Surprise by Think Nguyen – Video Download

The most impossible Card at Any Number effect you've ever seen — using a borrowed, freely shuffled deck!

“Fooled me so badly!!! I'd perform this to others just to entertain myself!”

— Zee J. Yan

Every once in a while, a magician creates an effect so deceptive that they want to keep it entirely to themselves. The Surprise by Think Nguyen is one of those rare creations.

After months of persuasion from the magic community, Think Nguyen has finally agreed to share the secrets behind this extraordinary routine.

The effect? An incredibly clean and impossible version of Card at Any Number (ACAAN) that looks so fair and hands-off that even experienced magicians struggle to understand how it could possibly work.

Using a borrowed deck that the spectator freely shuffles, you create an astonishing coincidence between a chosen card and a freely named number. The conditions are remarkably fair, making the final revelation seem completely impossible.

This is an effect that truly needs to be seen to be appreciated!

What Makes The Surprise So Special?

• Borrowed deck: You can use a borrowed deck of playing cards.

• Freely shuffled: The spectator can shuffle the deck.

• No gimmicks: No special gimmicked cards are required.

• No magnets: Absolutely no magnets are involved.

• No difficult sleight of hand: You don't need to master complicated techniques.

• No arts and crafts: No preparation involving construction is necessary.

• No stack or memory work: No memorized deck or stack is required.

• Nothing added or removed: The deck remains free of extra or missing cards.

More Than Just an ACAAN

Think Nguyen doesn't simply teach you a method and leave it at that. The real value of The Surprise lies in the thinking behind it.

You'll learn the secrets of the routine and discover how combining Think's methods with traditional sleight of hand can open the door to creating genuinely deceptive magic of your own.

This is not just another self-working trick that does all the work for you. It rewards magicians who appreciate the thinking, technique, and creativity behind powerful magic.
