Contents

The Big Surprise

A funny, seamless handling of the classic Card in Box effect. Ideal for opening or closing a show, the routine builds to a surprise when the assisting spectator discovers what the Big Surprise Canister really contains.

A Visit from Rocco

A charming presentation of a Larry West trick. Using giant bills, the magician and Rocco teach the audience a memorable lesson in arithmetic.

Rocco Returns

Rocco returns with a lesson in Find the Lady! This routine for Ton Onosaka’s Lucky Lady also demonstrates the importance of motivated prop handling.

Ring Fright

Michael combines ideas from Gaetan Bloom and Terri Rogers to create a remarkable two-object transposition involving a spectator’s finger ring. No pulls are used, so the method avoids putting the spectator’s finger at risk from that type of device.

Take a Letter

A strange and entertaining effect using ordinary stationery items. A wonderfully unusual routine that brings together a surprising range of magical principles.

Butte Ox? Two Butte Ox!

Michael Close’s handling of Johnny Paul’s classic Cheek to Cheek effect combines hilarious comedy with intelligent, motivated card handling. Featuring the Unbelievably Useful Comedy Prop, this routine is a mainstay of Michael’s stand-up act.

Bonus: Stupid Travelers

Michael performs this outrageous card routine but does not explain it. Masterful card technique meets wonderfully chaotic behaviour in a performance designed to make you laugh.

Rubik’s Dollar Bill

A penetration effect involving a dollar bill, a playing card, and a toothpick. This release presents the full handling on video for the first time, according to the original product description.

The Growing Toothpick

A quick visual effect in which a toothpick appears to triple in length in just 30 seconds. Pure visual eye candy!

Origami Bill Production

A borrowed bill instantly folds itself into an origami figure. The finished creation can be attached to your business card, making it a memorable souvenir and a practical giveaway.

The Frog Prince

A remarkable card routine in which a freely selected playing card transposes with a card folded into an origami frog. Celebrated as a modern close-up classic, this effect offers a memorable and reputation-building climax.
