The Topit was developed by a shop-lifter in the late ninetenth century - and at some point made it into the magic field (hummm...).

It allows virtually anything held in the magicians hand to vanish suddenly into thin air. It can help you get out of sticky situation, open a performance, and is useful in a vast array of routining. It is what allowed the magician to move his performances from behind the table to standing up. It requires alteration of your performance coat (pro's can partly deduct this from taxes!). No true magician should be without one. Period.
