Obscurities by Peter Duffie is a unique collection of card magic that brings together material Peter Duffie originally published in various magazines and books by other authors. For the first time, these hard-to-find routines have been collected into a single digital volume.
The collection includes material from publications such as The Linking Ring, Abracadabra, Griffin, Arcane and Magic Magazine. Importantly, these routines do not appear in Peter Duffie's other books or eBooks, making this a valuable addition for collectors and card magicians looking for less familiar material.
With 15 routines covering predictions, card revelations, transpositions, mathematical principles and unusual card effects, this collection offers plenty of ideas for close-up performers and card magic enthusiasts.
The eBook includes:
Among the highlights is Blind Faith, a double prediction effect involving freely selected cards and an unexpected second revelation. Thighned, Thunked & Delivered features a signed selection whose back and front are apparently printed onto blank cards. Writing a Wrong creates a memorable transposition involving two spectators' signed business cards.
Peter Duffie's work is known for combining practical card handling with clever principles and unusual constructions. This collection is particularly interesting because it brings together material that might otherwise be difficult to locate.
Rather than simply revisiting routines from his better-known publications, this eBook gives you access to a selection of lesser-known creations and ideas from different periods of Duffie's work.
Obscurities by Peter Duffie is therefore an excellent choice for magicians who enjoy discovering hidden gems and expanding their card magic repertoire with material that feels fresh and different.
