Face Test by Tyler Twombly – Mixed Media Download

Watch an ordinary portrait transform into something extraordinary—simply by turning it in your hands!

As seen on Season 7 of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Face Test by Tyler Twombly combines optical illusion, psychology, and magic to create an unforgettable visual experience.

Based on the fascinating psychological phenomenon known as the Thatcher Effect, this effect allows you to transform realistic portraits into bizarre, otherworldly faces. The transformations happen right before your audience's eyes, creating a moment that challenges their perception of what they are seeing.

In this extensive 90-minute tutorial, Tyler Twombly reveals the techniques, preparation, and presentation behind his remarkable routines.
